Siegel & Strain prepared comprehensive Historic Structures Reports (HSRs) for the Headquarters and Enlisted Men’s Barracks buildings at Fort Winfield Scott, which are part of a designated National Historic Landmark District (NHLD). The reports provide The Presidio Trust a planning tool for making timely decisions regarding the appropriate use, maintenance, protection, and alterations to the buildings and adjacent sites.

The HSRs include cultural landscape assessment, historic context,character-defining features, building and site chronology, evaluation of the significance and integrity, detailed room-by-room survey forms outlining current conditions and treatment recommendations to protect the integrity of the buildings and immediate site for future use.
