February 10, 2007 - Larry Strain Bestowed AIA Fellowship

The American Institue of Architects (AIA) selected Larry Strain for Fellowship. A Jury of Fellows annually selects architects and members of The American Institute of Architects who have made notable contributions to the profession of architecture and to society.

Advancement to Fellowship is the highest membership honor of the AIA. Founded in 1952, the purpose of the AIA College of Fellows is to stimulate a sharing of interests among Fellows, to promote the purposes of the AIA, to advance the profession of architecture, and to be of ever-increasing service to society.

Mr. Strain was recognized by the Jury of Fellows for his 30 years of leadership in energy and environmental research, as well as his committment to bringing about a more sustainable built environment. Mr. Strain is Siegel & Strain's second active Fellow; Principal Henry Siegel is the first.
