January 1 , 2007 - Siegel & Strain Architects Appoints Three New Principals: Burton Peek Edwards, Nancy Malone, and Susi Marzuola

Burton Peek Edwards, AIA, has been with Siegel & Strain since 2000 and has 28 years of experience in the historic preservation of civic, educational and recreation spaces. Burton is currently Project Manager on Orinda City Hall, the Presidio Funston Houses, and the Zzyzx Mineral Springs Historic District in the Mohave National Preserve. He is also completing an historic evaluation for Highland Hospital in Oakland.

Nancy Malone, AIA, LEED AP, has been with Siegel & Strain since 1996 and brings 18 years of experience in the sustainable design of diverse project types, including two AIA Top Ten projects, Camp Arroyo in Livermore and the Emeryville Resourceful Building. Nancy currently manages the Tidewater Aquatic Center project in Oakland and is LEED consultant for the David Brower Center in Berkeley.

Susi Marzuola, AIA, joined Siegel & Strain in 2004 and has over 25 years of experience in primarily school and community projects. Her expertise has been invaluable to the Portola Valley Town Center, currently under construction. Susi is also working on the Yountville Community Hall, Oak Hill School in Marin City, and ongoing improvements at the Hamlin School in San Francisco.
